Having over 16 years of experience in testing and a real passion for quality, I enjoy coaching and mentoring others in this discipline.
During my rich career, I have had the opportunity to get involved in functional as well as non functional testing. Quality is not just the responsibility of the test/QA team. It is up to each and everyone, who is involved in the project, to ensure what we deliver meets or even exceeds the expectation of our clients.
In the past 5 years, I have been managing test teams. The key is in ensuring that every team member realises the importance of what we do - we are the guarantors of quality! Hence the need to keep ourselves up to date with the latest in the testing field and also having an indepth knowledge of the business in which we evolve.
I am actively involved in MSTQB, the Mauritian chapter for ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and currently hold the Secretary post. Our objective is to grow and connect the software testing community in Mauritius.
