Dr. Avinash Ramtohul has 25 years working experience in the IT industry in Africa and Middle-East. He is presently the Managing Director for Alludo in Mauritius after 18 years with Oracle where he was Managing Director for 8 years.
Avinash has various business and academic publications. He has presented several research papers in International Conferences, covering e-government, information security, e-learning and Leadership/Change Management. He has also published his work in respected International Journals. His Doctoral Thesis focused on Government Service Digitisation. He is author of various thought leadership articles in the field of Digital Transformation.
Dr Ramtohul is a keynote speaker at regional conferences on Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence and Information Security. His law degree projects laid focus on Cyber legislations.
Dr. Ramtohul holds a PhD, LLB Hons, MBA, MSc and BSc from University of Mauritius, University of Central Lancashire- UK, University of Bristol-UK and University of Pune, India, respectively. His Doctoral Thesis specialises in Information Security for E-Government. Dr. Ramtohul is Chartered Manager (Chartered Management Institute, UK), Chartered IT Professional (Chartered Institute for IT) and a part-time faculty member of Open University, Mauritius. He is currently supervising several Doctoral research projects
